* Nixon to Reject "Victory by Default", Demands New Elections *

I have reviewed the Executive Order issued by Secretary of State Hosea Halliday that disqualifies Mr Kenneth Muldoon from the 2025 Los Santos mayoral election. The evidence presented shows a deliberate attempt to purchase votes and undermine the will of the people. If Mr Muldoon is found guilty in a court of law, then this is a grave betrayal of public trust.

To the voters who supported Mr Muldoon in good faith, I understand your disappointment. Your voice still matters and I will work to ensure it is heard. I ask every resident of Los Santos to remain calm, respect the legal process, and continue to participate fully in our democracy.

I commend the Secretary of State, the Municipal Electoral Commission, and law enforcement agencies for acting swiftly to protect the integrity of our election. I also thank the individuals who came forward with information. Their vigilance proves that every citizen has a role in defending democracy.

I call upon the State to release its plan of action. What I will say is this however: a single name on a ballot is not a mandate. If offered the position by default, I will not accept. That would be highly undemocratic. I urge the Commission to convene a new mayoral race after it has introduced robust safeguards that will prevent any repeat of recent failings and restore full confidence in the process.

Once those protections are in place, I will proudly place my name before the voters, measure my vision against any new or returning candidates, and embrace whatever verdict the people deliver in a free and fair contest.

Our city must emerge from this episode more resilient, not more divided.
