Traffic Officers play a crucial role in maintaining traffic law compliance, enforcing parking regulations, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic within the city. We patrol assigned areas to monitor traffic flow, enforce traffic laws, direct traffic during peak hours, emergencies, and special events, and issue parking citations, arranging for the towing of vehicles violating parking rules. Additionally, we provide information and assistance to the public regarding traffic laws, directions, and city services, participate in community outreach programs to promote traffic safety awareness, report damaged or malfunctioning traffic control devices for repair, and maintain accurate records to support court cases and investigations.
